Rica Peralejo on Piolo Pascual: ‘Di ko rin alam kung ano kami but it was very clear that we liked each other’

Rica Peralejo revealed that she and Piolo Pascual had a past, didn’t have a label, but used to talk about their future together.

In a Youtube vlog posted on Friday, where Rica entertained questions from fans, she finally gave answers to that one thing everyone’s been wondering about: “Naging kayo ba talaga ni Piolo Pascual at dumating ba sa point na nag-propose siya sa’yo?”

According to the actress, it was a “yes and no” because she, herself, isn’t sure about their relationship.

“Yes in a sense na deep [kami] with each other but we never put a label on ourselves tapos ‘di rin kami umamin sa public about dating or liking each other,” she said.

“Hindi ko rin alam talaga kung ano kami, but it was very clear to us that we liked each other a lot. We would talk about the future, about being husband and wife and all that,” she added.

Rica also clarified that, no, Piolo did not propose. He, however, was the one who invited her to Church, bringing her closer to God.

“I think that was largely the purpose of Piolo in my life. When I met Jesus, I realized (that) [He] was the man I needed to get to know in my life at the time,” she wrote in the description.

“For that, I will be forever grateful to Piolo, for bringing me one step closer to the truest love of my life,” she added.

Rica and Piolo starred in a drama together in 2006 where the rumors started.

Currently, Rica is married for 11 years to Pastor Joseph Bonifacio whom she met at Church. They have two kids together - Philip and Manu. — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA News
