Joyce Pring and Juancho Triviño are going to be parents!

The couple revealed that they were expecting their first child on GMA morning show “Unang Hirit” on Tuesday as they mark their first wedding anniversary.

Joyce, who flaunted an already-prominent baby bump to her co-hosts on air, said she wanted to surprise her UH fam just as she surprised everybody else.

She even surprised Juancho, who got emotional upon hearing the news.

“Actually gusto namin kayong isurprise today as a family kasi kasi yung mga family namin talagang sinurprise namin and ako sinurprise ko din si Juancho on our anniversary dinner, so iyak nang iyak si Juancho,” Joyce said.

“Oo, actually parang whirlwind of emotion nga pero isa sa mga best feeling na naramdaman ko in life,” Juancho added.

Juancho actually just filmed a segment of “Unang Hirit” the day he found out.

“Maganda ‘yung ano eh, parang, it was a special dinner date at nag-‘Unang Hirit’ pa ako nu’n nung umaga, tapos after no’n, nung naguusap nalang kami, sabi niya, ‘May mga surprise ako sayo,’ so binigay niya sakin yung pregnancy test tapos, a’yun, parang na-shook ako eh!” the soon-to-be dad said.

Joyce and Juancho tied the knot in a beautiful garden ceremony at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza in Manila last February 9, 2020.

The couple got engaged as early as August 2019, but kept it secret until November.

The two met as hosts on the set of GMA morning show “Unang Hirit," and their love blossomed from there. —JCB, GMA News
