Khalil Ramos on relationship with Gabbi Garcia: 'We're young but we're heading towards settling down'
Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos have been together for almost three years but do you know how their love story started?
In an episode of "Tunay na Buhay," Khalil recalled meeting Gabbi at...Julia Barretto's debut.
"Nagkakilala kami during a debut of one of our closest friends, si Julia Baretto," Khalil said in the show, saying Gabbi struck him as very elegant.
"She was so elegant kasi at that time, she was so ano eh, dressed up, as in super elegant. She had her hair in a bun [and] she had such a nice dress, so from the get-go parang 'woah'," he said.
The Kapuso actor revealed that another actress, Kathryn Bernardo, was the one who played cupid and introduced them to each other.
"When I got to talk to her [Gabbi] during that night, she was such a sweet person. She was someone you can easily talk to, she was warm. That’s how I would explain my first impression [of Gabbi]. She was such a warm person," he added.
Khalil and Gabbi met again after two years, became friends, and started their courting stage.
It's been a solid three years together, with Khalil describing their relationship communication as very "intact."
"We are very different individually, pero together we both understand each other very well," he said.
Gabbi also revealed some of the qualities she likes about her man, among them being "a very wise and smart guy."
"He’s very deep and what I love about him is may pagkaseryoso. You’ll never really get to know the full him until you actually spend time with him," Gabbi said.
Khalil said they are at the point in their relationship where they are both happy and secure.
"Parang andun na kami sa stage na secured kami and we’re happy and helping each other," Gabbi continued.
Although Khalil, 25 and Gabbi, 22 are both aware they are still young, he said "we plan on heading towards settling down."
"Siyempre we’re young. We’re not gonna settle down anytime soon. We’re not gonna get married anytime soon but we would want to be life partners, really. But no pressure for the both of us," he added.
