Megan Young and Mikael Daez answer 'difficult relationship questions' in latest podcast episode

Megan Young and Mikael Daez finally took on the challenge of answering "difficult relationship questions" on their podcast.

In an episode of their #BehindRelationshipGoals on Monday, netizens asked the couple if there were times that they didn't want to be around each other.

The pair said they have not really gotten tired of each other, but added that they also experienced moments when they got annoyed with the other, just like any other couple.

"I wouldn't say nagsawa ako sa 'yo but there were moments where I did not want to be around you... It happens when there are moments na minsan naiinis ka sa 'kin."

The actress said that in the past, Mikael would push her to do things she wasn't doing, which she viewed as nagging. As time passed, she realized that he was only doing it because he was looking out for her.

Meanwhile, Mikael said that it wasn't a quality of his to get tired of things, be it about Megan or something else.

"I don't think it's my thing na magsawa," he said. "It really hasn't been a quality of mine ever since before."

Sharing their thoughts on commitment, the couple also gave advice for those who are dating and find themselves falling out of love with their partners.

"I'm assuming this falling out of love alam na alam mo na. Hindi 'yung parang pagkagising, 'Parang hindi ko na siya love.' Ito totoo na talaga na pinag-isipan, nagmuni-muni ka na," Mikael said.

"If that happens, save yourself and your partner a lot of hurt. You know, just end it in the most proper way possible," he said.

Megan also agreed that if she was falling out of love with someone, she would break up with that person.

"I would wait it out and see if tama 'yung feelings ko, but if tama then I would break," she said.

The actress added that although they've been together for 10 years now, she never doubted her feelings for Mikael.

"I never doubted our relationship and I never doubted my feelings for you but kunyari my relationship before you there were moments that I doubted my feelings for an ex," Megan said.

This year, the pair celebrated their 10th anniversary together and marked their first year as husband and wife. —Kaela Malig/MGP, GMA News
