Janella Salvador gives birth to baby boy!

Janella Salvador has revealed that she gave birth to a baby boy!

In a tell-all video posted on Tuesday night, Janella confirmed that she and her boyfriend, Filipino-English actor Markus Paterson, welcomed their baby Jude Trevor Paterson into the world on Oct. 20 in the United Kingdom.

In the video, the actress brought her viewers throughout her pregnancy journey, from hearing the heartbeat, finding out the gender, to holding her baby for the first time after giving birth.

In a narration to Jude, Janella shared that she was quite nervous to reveal him to the world.

“If I’m going to be honest, I was quite nervous about this day because I know how harsh this world can be. If your dad and I can have you all to ourselves forever in our quiet world, we would, but that would be too selfish,” she said.

“You’re too precious to not be shared,” she added. “The world deserves to see you grow into your own unique self.”

Janella also shared how happy she and Markus were with the birth of their baby and how much love they felt for him.

“The minute I saw you I knew I would do anything in this world to protect you and I can’t wait to introduce you to the world and hold you in my arms even if you think it’s uncool as you walk off to your friends,” Markus said.

“You are loved forever and always by your mother and I,” he added.

Aside from the home videos the couple took of their journey, messages for Jude from family and friends were included in the video, including those from celebrities such as Erich Gonzales and Maja Salvador.

“Your Tita, Ninang Erich will always be here for you praying for you,” Erich told Jude in her message video. “I can’t wait to see you na. Come home na, come home na!”

Meanwhile, Maja said, “I love you, I love you Baby Jude so much ... kung gaano ko prinoprotektahan ang iyong mommy ay ganoon din, triple, quadruple pa gagawin ko sa ’yo.”

Addressing Janella, the actress added, “I’m so proud of you dahil in-embrace at tinanggap mo si baby Jude agad-agad sa buhay mo.”

Earlier on Tuesday, Janella released a teaser photo of herself kissing a baby.

Janella and Markus, both 22, confirmed they were in a relationship in September. The couple have been spending time in the United Kingdom amid the pandemic. – RC, GMA News
