Woman gives birth to long-awaited baby on Christmas Day

A woman finds hope as she gives birth to a baby she has long been waiting for.

According to Athena Imperial’s “24 Oras” report Saturday, mommy Aleja gave birth to a baby boy after 10 long years of praying for a child.

“Nawalan kami ng trabaho pero blessings pa rin kasi dumating siya,” she said.

Aleja was one of the four women who gave birth at Gregorio T. Lluch Memorial Hospital in Iligan City on Christmas Day.

Another mom gave birth to a baby boy at a birthing center in Kidapawan City shortly before 2 a.m. on Christmas Day. His parents said they considered baby Elijah a blessing because he was born healthy during the pandemic.

Meanwhile, another baby boy born on the same day at Southern Philippines Medical Center in Davao City was named Jesus by his mommy Amor. – RC, GMA News
