Catriona Gray video calls parents on Christmas Day: 'Being away from them hits different today'
Catriona Gray had to be away from her parents on Christmas Day.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, the Miss Universe 2018 titleholder shared a photo of herself on a video call with parents Normita Magnayon and Ian Gray who reside in Canada.
"For now, this is how we spend time together as a family," the beauty queen wrote.
She also said that although she's been away from home for Christmas in the past already, this one hit her differently.
"I miss you so much mama @mitagray and Papa. Can't wait to finally be together again," she added.
On Thursday, Catriona shared that she missed her family "terribly" after she flew to the US for the holiday.
In a separate post on Friday, the beauty queen posted photos of herself having a very white Christmas in the snow.
