Marian Rivera shares 3 things she learned as a work-from-home mom

Like many parents during the COVID-19 pandemic, Marian Rivera has been working from home to provide for her family while keeping an eye on her kids.

In a Zoom interview for the third anniversary of "Tadhana," the Kapuso Primetime Queen tipped her hat to all the moms who are doing all they can for the sake of their families.

May instinct 'yan.

Marian also shared a few things she learned after spending the past few months as a work-from-home mom.

Time management is still important

Just because you're not clocking in and out at the office, it doesn't mean you should throw time management out the window.

Marian has been taping episodes of "Tadhana" from home during the lockdown, on top of running a flower business. Despite all her other activities, Marian still tries her best to make time for her two young kids, Zia and Ziggy.

The family can always help

Working from home can work both ways: Mommy is working hard to support the family, but there are also many things the family can do to support her.

There's nothing wrong with listening

Working from home requires focus, but that doesn't mean completely tuning everybody out.

Marian said there's nothing wrong with hearing someone out, especially if it's a family member who cares about you and wants to help.

"Kung may mga bagay na nakakalimot si nanay, wala namang masama na i-remind si nanay na, 'Oy masyado ka nang busy nanay, baka pwedeng gawin natin itong schedule na 'to," the actress said.

"Kaya nga tinatawag na pamilya ang nasa loob ng bahay—para you care for each other at love n'yo ang isa't isa," she added.

—MGP, GMA News
