Doug Kramer surprises Chesca with an extra-special ring on their 12th anniversary
Doug Kramer got his wife Chesca an extra-special surprise for their 12th wedding anniversary.
The retired PBA star got her a gorgeous diamond ring, which he hid in her rice so she could find it later as they ate with their kids Kendra, Scarlett and Gavin.
Chesca dug the ring out with a confused expression, thinking it was a stapler at first, but immediately smiled and thanked her hubby once she realized what it was.
Chesca even guessed right away what the ring design meant: Three glittering stones for each of their three children.
The band was also lined with six emerald-cut diamonds on each side, signifying twelve years as a married couple.
Don't worry: Doug sanitized the ring before putting it in Cheska's rice!
"To my Chesca, the longer we have lasted, the more I love you! Happy 12 yr anniversary sweetheart! Happy 17 years together!"
In the beginning of the video, Doug said he wanted to get Chesca something special for their anniversary since he wasn't able to give her a birthday present last July.
"The whole surprise wasn't even planned," Doug said in the caption.
"I was supposed to give my 12yr anniversary gift tonight, but I couldn't wait! Sa rice na lang ilagay! Haha!"
Chesca also posted a sweet photo with Doug to mark the occasion, along with a heartfelt caption dedicated to her hubby.
"Thank you for today's surprise! I thought there was a stapler pin in my rice cup... little did I know it was your gift for me. Thank you sweetheart, I love it!?" Chesca wrote.
"I would have to say this though, that would have meant nothing to me if I didn't have all your love! I honestly cannot ask for anything more, because to me, you being present and involved in our marriage is what matters the most," she added.
