Diana Zubiri has given birth to a baby girl!

In a vlog posted on Wednesday, the actress and her husband Andy Smith introduced baby Amira Jade Smith to the world.

The couple revealed that Diana had been pregnant and gave birth amid the pandemic.

In the video, Diana brought viewers through every step of her pregnancy journey, from finding out she was pregnant to revealing the gender to their friends and family.

Unfortunately, Andy shared that due to the pandemic, he was unable to witness the birth of his baby.

“So due to COVID situation, I wasn’t able to see our baby born because when Diana comes back she needs to do two weeks of quarantine in the house,” he said, tearing up.

“With Aliyah and King, we decided it was best to stay with the kids with the two weeks while Diana stays with our baby for the two weeks,” he added.

Sharing to the camera the first ever photo of the actress with their newborn baby, Andy said: “She did a good job. I know she was struggling for the last few weeks.”

Because the newborn and Diana will be quarantined separately from the family for the meantime, Andy said he prepared a ladder so he could climb up to the balcony, where he could take photos of Diana and baby Amira through the window.

“I’m super happy,” he said. “Thankfully she’s healthy.”

Diana and Andy, who tied the knot in 2015, welcomed their first child, Aliyah, in 2016.

Diana has a son named King with former husband Alex Lopez, who passed away in 2010. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
