Winwyn Marquez says she’s single, happy for ex Mark Herras, partner Nicole Donesa
Winwyn Marquez is currently enjoying the single life.
The Kapuso actress and beauty queen opened up about her lovelife during a recent press conference for her new series “I Can See You: High Rise Lovers,” saying she was both “single” and “happy.”
This was after a reporter mentioned that her ex-boyfriend Mark Herras is currently expecting a child with Nicole Donesa.
“Oo nga eh! Magkakaroon na siya ng family,” Winwyn said.
“I’m happy for him. I’m happy for them, ’di ba, kahit papaano, talagang excited ako nariyan siya with Nicole,” she added.
Winwyn Marquez confirmed in February that she and Mark had broken up after more than two years of dating. According to the beauty queen, it was a mutual decision.
Mark is currently in a relationship with actress Nicole Donesa, and the couple had just announced they were expecting their first child this month.
During a recent Zoom conference, Winwyn admitted that she and Mark didn’t have the chance to catch up recently, but she still wanted to congratulate the couple.
“Hindi pa kami nag-uusap ever since eh, pero wala pa talagang chance, like, wala rin naman kaming chance mag-meet kasi wala rin kasi talagang schedule na sumasabay, di ba?” Winwyn explained.
“Pero syempre gusto ko rin naman silang makita and to congratulate them kasi, kahit pa paano, friends pa rin kami. Magkakabarkada kami, di ba, to begin with?” she added.
Winwyn also emphasized that she was perfectly okay spending some time alone amid the COVID-19 pandemic, especially since she was focused on acting and military training.
“Ako, okay akong mag-isa. I mean, meron namang nandiyan sa paligid-ligid, pero it’s not a priority kami kasi nage-enjoy ako. Nage-enjoy ako sa ginagawa ko eh,” she said.
Winwyn recently began her Basic Citizen’s Military Training with the Philippine Navy as part of their Reserve force.
She was also very happy that she got to be a part of “I Can See You: High Rise Lovers” with Lovi Poe and Tom Rodriguez set to air all week long starting Oct. 12 on GMA-7 Telebabad. – Margaret Claire Layug/RC, GMA News
