Gian Sotto and wife Joy welcome their sixth child
Quezon City Vice Mayor Gian Sotto and his wife Joy welcomed their sixth child on Saturday.
On Instagram, Gian posted a photo of their newest bundle of joy wrapped in a towel and another photo of himself carrying their baby boy.
"Hallelujah! All Praise Worship and Glory to You Lord, our Amazing God for another wonderful Blessing to our Family!" he wrote in the caption of his post.
Gian said even though it was his sixth time to be a father to a child, it still felt like the first time.
"Thank you so much to all of you who continue to stand in faith and prayer with us! Maraming maraming salamat mga kapatid! God bless you all always brothers and sisters!" he ended his note.
Joy also posted a photo of their newborn son on her Instagram account, sharing a bit of her birthing experience.
She said it was "a totally different experience for me, compared to all other 5 pregnancies and deliveries." She said she had "so much fear and anxiety" and she "couldn't stop crying."
Joy said it was also her "first time to be alone, without @giansotto by my side, but grateful for my doctors and the nurses as well who helped calm me down and of course I Praise God for HIS comfort and peace upon me from delivery to recovery."
Gian and Joy, who have been married since 2007, announced in April that they are expecting their sixth child.
