Coleen Garcia hoping and praying for a successful water birth at home

Coleen Garcia has revealed she is planning to give water birth at home amid the pandemic.

The actress, who is about to give birth anytime soon, announced the news on the Behind The Scenes vlog of photographer BJ Pascual, who took her photos for the cover of Preview magazine.

She said her pregnancy had been smooth-sailing in the past few months and now she and husband Billy Crawford are “really hoping and praying for a successful home birth.”

“The past few weeks OMG parang one month na lang manganganak na ako that’s when a little bit of anxiety crept,” she admitted.

“I realized na all this time I was thinking about the pregnancy now I have to think about the baby it’s such a unique time kahit anong advice ang hingin ko sa different mommies iba pa rin ang time na ’to,” she added.

Coleen said she’s aware that “birth is so unpredictable mahirap magsalita ng tapos na but that’s my plan hopefully mag-water birth kami.”

Draped in sheer cloth while showing her pregnant tummy, Coleen looked like a goddess during the cover photo shoot, which she shared on her Instagram page.

In the video, BJ revealed that the concept for the shoot was inspired by one of the Rococo paintings “The Swing” by Jean-Honore Fragonard, and “Birth of Venus” by Sandro Botticelli.
