Vice President Leni Robredo was sure to pay tribute to her husband Jesse on the 8th anniversary of his death on Tuesday.

On Instagram, she shared an old photo of them, saying, "8 years. And it feels like he never left us."

Jesse Robredo passed away in a plane crash in Masbate in August 18, 2012.

After his death, Leni followed the footsteps of her husband, who sought a congressional seat and won as a representative for the third district of Camarines Sur in 2012.

In Jesse's death anniversary celebration last year, Leni said she sees that her mission is to complete what her husband of 25 years has started .
