So who's older, Mavy or Cassy Legaspi?

We all know Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi's twins Mavy and Cassy are talented just like their parents, but haven't you ever wondered who of the two of them came first?

In an interview on GMA-7's "Unang Hirit," the twins revealed that Mavy is considered older if they were in the Philippines, but the same rules don't apply in the US where they were born.

Carmina was apparently supposed to give birth to Cassy first, but the situation called for a caesarian section, through which Mavy was the first to come out.

"(The) Normal delivery was supposed to be Cassy (first). But then I held her back, so my mom had to get c-section. So that's when I came out first," Mavy explained.

In the States, Cassy is considered older because of how she was initially positioned to come out of the womb first.

"(Mavy) came out first but in America, in the States, I'm older kasi sa positioning ng normal delivery," Cassy said.

"But in the Philippines, whoever goes out first, siya yung ate or kuya," she added.

Mavy and Cassy just turned 19 last January 6, and their parents Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi took them on an exciting Japan trip to celebrate.

Understanding who's older might be a little confusing for some, but the twins had a very simple way of explaining it on "Unang Hirit," which they did in sync, too.

"So, where where do we live?" Mavy asked. "The Philippines!" Cassy answered.

"So, who's older?" he followed, and Cassy replied "Mavy!" — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
