Pops Fernandez, Martin Nievera remember what would have been their 34th wedding anniversary
Pops Fernandez said she was surprised to wake up on Sunday, June 28 tagged in countless videos with fans celebrating her and Martin Nievera's supposed 34th wedding anniversary.
"Oh its June 28!!!" Pops began before saying "thank you to all who still remember this day. Thank you for your support, love and understanding."
Posting a video showing clips of their moments together, Pops thanked their fans who still continue to support them even "with our imperfections, you still love us. you have witnessed us fall in love, fall apart, mend our wounds, and yes, grow up."
Pops admitted that the day used to bring her pain. "But now, it helps me realize all the blessings and wonderful memories I am thankful for."
According to Pops, June 28 has helped her understand the many aspects of love, saying she and Martin will "always share this day with the ones who never forget."
She ended her note thanking those who have compiled and created the video.
"Happy June 28!!!! May this day bring a whole new meaning to love."
In the comments section, Martin agreed and said that June 28 "will always be a special day."
"No matter what we are a team with two beautiful boys. Thank you for remembering this day as a special time in your lives too," he continued.
Martin and Pops had their marriage annulled in the early 2000's.
