Chavit Singson introduces 5-year-old daughter in an online show

Narvacan, Ilocos Sur Mayor Luis “Chavit” Singson introduced his youngest child, a five-year-old daughter named Rhian, in a recent an online show on Facebook Live.

Singson and Senator Manny Pacquiao were special guests in a livestream called “Essential Cleaning Tips with Chemist Pinky Tobiano,” where they gave away cash prizes for Father’s Day.

Toward the end of the program, Tobiano asked Pacquiao and her co-host Moi Bien to join her in singing “Happy Birthday” for Singson who turned 79 last June 21.

Rhian was then seen walking up to Chavit and surprising him with a cake. The five-year-old girl introduced herself, and kissed her dad on the cheek.

According to Tobiano, this was the first time Singson ever introduced his youngest child to the public in an online show.

Singson was also asked to give a short Father’s day message to his fellow fathers amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Ang masasabi ko lang ay panahon na para magpakabait tayo," the mayor said.

"So nangyayari ngayon sa COVID-19 ay para ipaalala ay para ipaalala sa atin ng ating maykapal, so panahon na ara magbago tayong lahat at panahon na rin para tutulong tayo ngayon lahat, kung anumang meron tayo, i-share natin,” he added.
