Coney Reyes on Vico Sotto's birthday: 'I praise and thank God for you every day'

Vico Sotto turns 31 today, June 17 and on Instagram, mom Coney Reyes has a special greeting for him.

Posting a series of adorable photos from Vico's growing up years, Coney greeted her son a happy birthday and said, "I will always be here praying for you, helping you in any and every way I can." 

"I love you so much, son!" She continued. "I praise and thank God for you every day."

Coney then ended her note with a bible verse from the book of Psalms: "May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. We will shout for joy when you are victorious and will lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the Lord grant all your requests."

Earlier, the young Pasig Mayor told his constituents and colleagues not to give him a surprise party or gifts, instead encouraging them to donate foodpacks to those in need. 

"Pakiusap na wala munang celebration o surprise party. Hindi naman ako mahilig sa party at mas mahalaga pa rito, bawal pa ang mga gathering...buhay na buhay pa si Covid mga kaibigan!" Vico tweeted earlier on Tuesday. — LA, GMA News
