Donna Cruz says there's no conflict between her and cousins Sunshine, Geneva, and Sheryl
After Sheryl Cruz missed the virtual reunion performance of Donna, Geneva, and Sunshine, not a few netizens speculated of a conflict between them.
But Donna clarified that there's absolutely none.
On Instagram, Donna posted a photo of the four of them together gracing a cover of a magazine from 1995.
In the caption, Donna clarified that although they don't often see each other, there are no conflicts or problems between them.
"I love my cousins, mula noon hanggang ngayon at habang buhay, di po kami madalas magkita, pero wala pong problem sa 'min," she wrote.
"Nauna at maaga po talaga naging busy si Ate She sa work (at super sikat) while kami po talaga ang sabay-sabay lumaki nila Gen, Shine at iba pang mga cousins namin (na sana makasama din namin sa pagkanta sa mga susunod pang pagkakataon)," Donna explained.
Donna said all of them respect and love each other: "We always will, no matter what!"
Donna said it's inevitable that they have different schedules for work.
"Pero pag kailanganin, nandito lang po kami for each other, always po yan. Love and miss you all mga pinsan ko!"
Despite Sunshine being in Manila, Geneva in the US, and Donna in Cebu, the cousins have found a way to reunite and sing as a trio in a virtual performance.
In the same post, Donna also confirmed that they will have another virtual performance, this time with their Ate Sheryl.
"Susunod po with Ate Sheryl na naka-chat na namin kaya mag prepare na din at excited na! Thanks, Ate," Donna wrote tagging Sheryl Cruz.
Geneva echoed the same promise on her Instagram account. Posting the same magazine cover, Geneva said that was the only time the four of them got together for work.
"I am excited for all of you to see a collaboration, 25 years in the making...coming very soon," Geneva said. “I love you, cousins! Let’s do this!”
