Two friends become a couple after getting stuck in Baguio during the lockdown
Here's something good that came off quarantine. Two long-time friends finally admitted their feelings for one another after being stuck in Baguio during the lockdown.
According to a report on "Saksi," the unexpected situation gave Jex Vilar and Zaldy Faller a chance to get to know know one another even better.
"Kami lang eh! Wala kaming ibang kausap," Jex said.
One day, Zaldy finally asked her: "Ano tayo na ba?"
Little did he know that Jex has had a crush on him since 2008.
According to the report, Jex and Zaldy were safely able to return home to Manila, but their first real date will have to wait.
"Plano naming mag-date na hindi na makapag-facemask!" Jex said.
Luzon was placed under enhanced community quarantine last March 17 and was extended a couple of times. In May, restrictions were eased with the capital Metro Manila finally put on general community quarantine on June 1. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
