Vico Sotto reveals he's back to living with mom Coney Reyes

Vico Sotto revealed that he's back to living with his mother, Coney Reyes — "for practicality," he adds — but because of his duties as Pasig City Mayor, they don't see each other often or get to hang out as frequently.

"Lagi niya akong tinatanong when she gets the chance, pero ayoko rin istorbohin siya masyado na maghahanda pa para sa akin," the young mayor said in the debut episode of "Quarantined with Howie Severino."

Vico adds they don't have any helper at home, and that his mom helps in maintaining and cleaning the house, a way to remain active, he said.

"Siya na rin ang nagliligpit sa bahay, ganyan, pero syempre ayoko naman bigyan siya ng trabaho. Practically almost all of my meals, three meals a day I eat here in the office — most of the time," Vico said.

Because of the demands of running Pasig City, Vico said that he goes home very late.

"Hindi ko naman sasabihin na 24 hours akong nagtatrabaho. Twenty-four hours ako on call. My phone is always on loud mode, 'pag emergencies and I set an alarm," he said.

"Naging habit ko na even before COVID-19, lalo na kapag panahon ng bagyo. Nag-a-alarm ako sa gitna ng...mga 3am or 4am just to see if everything's okay," the young mayor added. — Kaela Malig/LA, GMA News
