Isabelle Daza creates animated story book in Tagalog and English to explain COVID-19 to kids
Isabelle Daza used animal characters in an animated video to explain the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) to her son Baltie and other children.
In an Instagram post, the actress introduced the story "Tralala the Tiger" and its Tagalog version "Ang tigreng si Tralala."
"So I created a story to help explain to my son what is going on with the current covid-19 pandemic. This is what I call an animated book," Isabelle said.
The animation was done by Tristan Yapchiongco while the drawings were done by Jewies Art Space. The sound design was crafted by Joey Puyat and Billie Puyat Murga gathered the facts.
Meanwhile, Isabelle's friend Nina did the Tagalog translation.
A similar story book was also previously created in support of the "Read the World" initiative by the International Publishers Association, the United Nations Children's Fund, and the World Health Organization.
Entitled “My Hero is You, How kids can fight COVID-19!” the book is targeted to help children who are 6 to 11 years old.
