Sarah Lahbati and Richard Gutierrez tie the knot in surprise ceremony

Nothing's gonna stop Sarah Lahbati and Richard Gutierrez from getting married, not even the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) threat.

Against all odds, the wedding pushed through despite earlier postponing it due to the rising cases of COVID-19 in the Philippines.

Sarah and Richard shared the photos of their small and private ceremony on their Instagram accounts. The couple had forgone the big celebration with loved ones, prioritizing everyone's health and safety.

The celebrity couple could be seen cementing their union with a kiss.

"I have you and it's enough. It's everything," they wrote.

"The big gathering to celebrate with all our loved ones, friends and colleagues will have to wait because we care more about everyone’s safety and health," they added.

Sarah, who decided to forego the usual veil, donned an elegant off-shoulder white dress on her special day.

Their civil wedding took place a few days after the pair decided to postpone their much-anticipated wedding ceremony due to the COVID-19 threat.
