Bride causes suspense at her wedding when she stops mid-aisle for 15 minutes

A wedding at the San Agustin Church in Manila was doused with suspense when the bride paused halfway down the aisle for a whole 15 minutes.

According to a report on "State of the Nation with Jessica Soho," Christine Juarez was signalled by some coordinators to keep walking but she refused to take another step because her father, Angelito, was nowhere in sight.

The wedding, however, had a happy ending because Angelito eventually came bursting through the doors to finally escort Christine to the altar.

It was later revealed that Angelito had to weave through a traffic jam, find a parking spot, and get past the police just to make it to his daughter's wedding.

"The only thing that I wanted was for my daughter is to be happy," the father said during the reception.
