Couple gets engaged during the RuPaul show in Manila

Is this the most extra proposal ever?

A man just proposed to his girlfriend onstage, in front of thousands, during the RuPaul Werq the World Tour in Manila on Saturday evening.

And yes, in front of American drag queen Monet X Change, too!

Monet, who was apparently in on it, had called the guest onstage and presented him to the crowd. She then asked his girlfriend of six years, who was clueless, to come up the stage as well.

The man, speaking into the microphone said, "This is a very special event in our lives...but this is also a very special moment for me, because baby, I want to ask..."

"Will you marry me?" he continued once he got on one knee.

He got a yes — not just a yes, but an "Of course!"

A thrilled Monet screamed, "Oh my goodness!"

RuPaul’s Drag Race: Werq the World Tour stopped by Araneta Coliseum in Cubao City on Saturday.

Aside from Monet, Michelle Visage, Violet Chachki, Detox, Kim Chi, Plastique Tiara, and Aquaria entertained the crowd with out-of-this-world intergalactic performances.
