Juancho Trivinio shares the story behind his proposal to Joyce Pring

Juancho Trivino spilled the beans on what went on behind the scenes of his proposal to Joyce Pring.

To recall, the two Kapuso hosts are engaged after Juancho proposed to Joyce in Boracay in front of their friends and family.

In his latest Instagram post, Juancho revealed that he asked for help from Joyce's mother, Cathy, and the latter helped him every step of the way.

Here’s the story behind this - Months before we flew to Boracay I talked to Joyce’s mom @catherinecheerrn_ about my intention of marrying her daughter. I was scared out of my mind on how she would react but to my surprise she wasn’t just okay with it, she helped me organize this whole thing out, mula sa pag kuha ng singsing hangang sa moment na ito sa Boracay. Love you Mama Cathy. Fast forward days before Aug 3 2019, may napaka lakas na BAGYO pala sa Pilipinas and sabi sa weather app or accuweather that it would rain 100% even on the projected moment of the proposal, ang dami ng flights na canceled at papunta na lahat ng mga kaibigan ko at ni Joyce chaka ung Pamilya ko, nang hindi niya alam. It seemed impossible. After praying and asking for prayers for this moment to happen, the sun did miraculously shined upon our moment and I felt that God allowed the proposal to happen. ???? Praise God because even if it seemed impossible if you just keep your faith good things will happen. Days before #PringHomeTheJuan I would just like to share our special moment of this adventure with the love of my life. @joycepring • • • Thank you @southsidestudiosph @mgzbau for editing the video. #PringAngBato #juanchoyce

"Months before we flew to Boracay I talked to Joyce’s mom @catherinecheerrn_ about my intention of marrying her daughter," the actor wrote.

"I was scared out of my mind on how she would react but to my surprise she wasn’t just okay with it, she helped me organize this whole thing out, mula sa pag kuha ng singsing hangang sa moment na ito sa Boracay," he added.

Days before the intended proposal, Juancho learned that there was a typhoon in the Philippines, and that many flights have been cancelled.

Weather apps told Juancho that there was a 100 percent chance that it would rain.

The video he posted actually shows how rainy it was in Boracay, the couple even getting stranded at some point.

"It seemed impossible. After praying and asking for prayers for this moment to happen, the sun did miraculously shined upon our moment and I felt that God allowed the proposal to happen," Juancho said. "Praise God because even if it seemed impossible if you just keep your faith good things will happen."

Juancho also hinted that it's only days before they tied the knot. Clearly, things were meant to be!
