Dingdong Dantes honors the two important women in his life

If you judge a man by how well he regards women, Dingdong Dantes must get a perfect 10.

The Kapuso Primetime King posted some photos from the donning of ranks ceremony at the Philippine Navy headquarters on Monday where he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander in the Philippine Navy Reserve Force.

He made special mention of "two important women" who were there to support him: His wife, Marian Rivera and his mom, Angeline.

"That moment when the two important women in my life appreciate an OOTD that’s not bought, but earned," Dingdong wrote in the caption.

"Ang nanay ko na nasa likod ko, at....(swipe).... ang asawa ko...na nasa harap," he added.

In the photos, Marian is seen squatting in her heels under the sun so she could film her husband giving a speech.

Proud mommy Angeline is also seen smiling at her son from the seats.

Dingdong currently stars in the Pinoy remake of "Descendants of the Sun" as "Big Boss" Captain Lucas Manalo.

But in real like, the actor actually comes from a long line of soldiers. He first enlisted in the Philippine Marine Reserve Force in 2006.
