Heart Evangelista and sister Camille Ongpauco talk about sisterhood in a vlog

Heart Evangelista and her older sister Camille Ongpauco got emotional talking about their relationship as sisters in a vlog.

In Heart's latest vlog, the siblings said they would often fight like cats and dogs when they were younger, but as they grew older, they realized that it they stuck together through thick and thin.

Heart said she considers Camille as her hero in school and in life.

"When I was younger, I'm not really included in a lot of activities in school. I was always the odd-looking kind of girl [with] not much friends but since I had a sister in the higher batch, I always had like my hero," she said in the video.

Camille said as the older sister, she always felt the need to protect Heart, saying she didn't think twice about getting into fights just to defend Heart from the naysayers.

"I hate people like that and most especially when people judge her. Naiinis ako because they don't know the goodness in her heart, na parang ang dami nilang comment kaya tuloy napapaaway ako minsan, but really I don't care. Kumbaga they're a lost cause naman," Camille said in the video.

The two revealed that their ultimate plan when they get old is to live together with their dogs and kids.

"When we're really, really old and 90 something na ako nun, wala na si Chiz, kami talaga 'yong magkasama kami talaga in the end we'll live together when we're old with our dogs and our kids," Heart said.

Camille said the two of them always talked about raising their kids not as cousins but as siblings.

Heart said she was supposed to give birth at the same time as Camille who welcomed her Baby Bella in December 2018.

Heart suffered a miscarriage in June 2018.    

"I think her baby's soul is also in Bella or it can also be kinausap muna niya na mauna ka muna, so 'yun muna," Camille told Heart.

The vlog ended with Camille giving Heart a touching message, telling her that God is preparing her for motherhood through Bella. It made Heart tear up.

"My wish for Heart, parang feeling ko kaya unang pinadala ni God si Bella is parang pine-prepare siya because pareho naman kaming dalawa eh," she said.

She said she feels happy when she sees Heart with her Baby Bella because she knows her sister treats her daughter like her own.

"I'm happy kapag nakikita ko na binubuhat niya si Bella, kapag andiyan si Bella sa tabi niya kasi parang I'm kampante na she'll raise bella also the same way without saying she'll raise her and love her the same way I love my daughter so I can't wait alam ko it's practice for her," she said.

Camille joked that she wanted Heart to have a boy so Baby Bella can inherit Heart's Hermes collection.

"Excited na ako, sana lang boy para 'yong mga Hermes. 'Yon lang ang wish ko," she laughed. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
