"So I was expecting a negative test that night, thinking there was no way we were pregnant. I not only tried to prevent it but I was still breastfeeding (which should’ve helped as a natural birth control also).
"I met the positive sign on the pee stick with a flood of questions and conflicted feelings," the former actress shared.
She explained that the "grand plan" was to wait two years between pregnancies. Mische had just given birth to her first bundle of joy Aislah about a year ago.
"How is she gonna do as a big sister so soon? Is my body even sufficiently recovered from having her let alone support another baby?? What will people say??" she wrote.
During that time, the 29-year-old former model said that she did not know how to rationalize and sort through her sudden feelings of disbelief, fear, panic, excitement and even anger.
"I was even upset at the joy and pride my husband had and his excitement to contain himself. I know, I KNOW, a surprise baby is no less of a BLESSING, and we pray for other wombs to open. [But] I am HAPPY to report that all the ugly emotions (along with the morning sickness) feels like a distant memory now," she said.
During her questioning times and moments of doubt, she clung on to the "truth that God's timing was perfect even when her trust in it was not."
Although she felt nervous and terrified, she said she is now very thrilled that Aislah was going to become a big sister soon.
