Ina Feleo remembers dad Johnny Delgado on his 10th death anniversary

Kapuso actress Ina Feleo paid tribute to her late father, Johnny Delgado, on the 10th anniversary of the actor's death.

On Instagram early Tuesday morning, Ina shared an old photo of Johnny, captioned with her message to her late father.

"Today marks the 10th year of him leaving this world, and I miss him. No one can ever replace him and the values he imparted to me will always always stay in my heart," a portion of Ina's post read.

The Kapuso actress narrated a touching story about how truly encouraging the late actor was. While enjoying the karaoke that her mother Laurice Guillen had just installed, she came across the classic "Over The Rainbow".

"[It] was the first song I sang in public for Mom’s 60th birthday party. I remember being totally insecure, because even though I CAN carry a tune, I’m no opera singer like my sister. Dad texted me, 'Puso puso lang yan' and to sing from my heart and that I did. He had that big smile on his face and looked proud of me," Ina recalled.

Ina also posted another photo of her with Johnny when they were in California years ago.

Meanwhile, Ina's sister, Ana, posted a video of her and Johnny hugging. "The older I get, the more I long for your presence and your advice," Ana began her touching caption.

She added how she sees so much of her dad in herself now that she's older.

She also said she was an "imperfect first born."

"[S]omeone who is sensitive, sometimes too much of a pleaser, gullible, non-communicative and proud.

Anna also revealed Johnny was "very hard and strict" with her.

Kahit most of the time matigas ang ulo ko, binigyan mo ako ng angkla na ‘di kailanman mawawala. Madalas kitang kausap ngayon," she added.

Mahal na mahal kita, Daddy," she ended.

Johnny, who was Juan Marasigan Feleo in real life, died at the age of 61 on November 19, 2009 due to lymphoma. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2008. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/LA, GMA News
