Ina Raymundo is 'a bit in denial' as eldest daughter turns 18
From Erika opening her eyes to the world for the first time to seeing her all grown up, Ina Raymundo certainly felt time fly by.
On Instagram Thursday, Ina Raymundo wrote an open letter to her eldest Erika, where she said that she and her husband, Brian Portunak, can't help but feel in denial.
Accompanying the open letter is a heartwarming video of her first pregnancy and Erika's baby photos.
"We remember vividly the day you were born. The hospital in Vancouver forgot to give me an epidural so you were the most alert of all. That smirk, with your Angelina Jolie lips, you gave us the first time we held you in our arms...unforgettable," Ina wrote.
The actress reminisced on all the things Erika used to love: Barney, Barbie dolls, Totally Spies, and others.
The actress also remembered when Erika stepped into middle school and started to see her parents as the "un-coolest persons on Earth."
Ina said, "Now that you’re finally 18, you’ve matured so much. You have a good head on your shoulders and a beautiful heart, Erika. You will always be the feisty and fiery one in the family but you are the sweetest too...We are blessed to have you."
