Jason Abalos defends Vickie Rushton after stuttering in Bb. Pilipinas' Q&A portion

Jason Abalos was quick to defend his girlfriend Vickie Rushton, after she stuttered in the question and answer portion of the Binibining Pilipinas 2019 coronation event on Sunday evening.

On his Twitter account, Jason explained  that Vickie got distracted by fans who were making noise during her turn in the Q&A.

He ended his post in a positive note saying the pageant is over and everyone is happy with their experiences. He also hoped other people would learn the value of respect.

Ok? Ok. God bless you all," he wrote.

Vickie fumbled during her turn in the Q&A, where she was asked, "Why is mental health as important as physical health?"

She answered: "Mental health is as important as physical health, because of our inner being. Having self-love is important. As a woman, I can inspire and empower the people to take care of themselves, to take care of their mind as well as their health. They will be as effective."

This is Vickie's second time to join Binibining Pilipinas. Last year, she finished first runner-up.

Although she bagged several special awards, Rushton failed to place in any one the titles. She finished her stint as one of the Top 15 finalists. — LA, GMA News
