AFTER GETTING LIGATED

Doug and Chesca Kramer are taking steps to get pregnant again

After she got ligated six years ago, Chesca Kramer is taking steps to get pregnant again.

Chesca’s husband Doug shared the awesome news on Instagram Monday saying they’ve done “the necessary steps to check if her body is ready and healthy now.”

“So far, so good,” he added.

According to Doug, “getting pregnant almost two straight years with Scarlett and Gavin took a toll on Chesca’s body so we decided to have her ligated.”

But that was six long years ago.

And so they’ve taken the necessary steps to check how ready she is.

Doug acknowledges it’s going to be a “complicated process but there are other ways to restart the baby factory.”

“I’m kinikilig to the bones!” he added.

According to WebMD, ligation reversal is possible through surgery.

"A surgeon will reopen, untie, or reconnect your fallopian tubes so you can have a baby again," the website says.

Among the factors to consider when thinking of getting a ligation reversal are "age, the type of surgery to get your tubes tied, and overall health and the health of your ovaries, uterus, and remaining fallopian tubes, especially their length," the website added.

Doug and Chesca have three children: Kendra, Scarlett and Gavin.

Good luck to Team Kramer! Here's hoping the baby factory gets restarted soon. — LA, GMA News
