Prepare a warm home-cooked meal
Nothing is more exciting than getting home to a table with warm home-cooked meal.  Flex your chef muscles and create easy recipe dinners either from scratch or from your leftovers.  Whet your loved one’s appetite by sending some photos or videos of the dinner table.  Complete the set-up with ice cream for dessert.

‘Me time’ in a hot bath
A relaxing bath after a long commute can relieve stress.  With scented candles, fresh towels, and some essential oils, you can turn a regular bath into a rejuvenating experience.  Prep the bathroom, too, by playing soothing music.  Put your phone on silent mode to enjoy some quiet time.

Declare a ‘couch potato night’
Download or watch online an episode of a TV series or a movie.  Lay out a mat and fill it with available throw pillows and cozy blankets. Dim the lights to get a movie house effect.  Discuss the merits of the movie, too, over ice cream for a great recap.

Bond with family and friends
Convert a nice spot in your home into a quaint corner.  Let the area be the place to catch up with loved ones either face to face or via a quick video call.  Provide some sweet fix like their favorite ice cream to make the conversation exciting.  This nice little corner could also serve as a place to bond with your family or an area to cap the night.
