Robin Padilla finally meets wife Mariel Rodriguez's father after eight years

It seems like the Padilla and Rodriguez families will be having a joyous Christmas!

For the first time in their eight years of marriage, actor Robin Padilla has finally met the father of his wife Mariel Rodriguez.

Mariel posted a family photo on Instagram on Monday and said it was a very important moment for her.

"After 8 years, @robinhoodpadilla and my Dad finally meet,  my heart is full. Thank you so much to everyone in my family for being so supportive of this moment. It means so much to me."

Mariel then thanked two of Robin's relatives for being present at their gathering.
