The vintage-themed debut party of Sharon and Sen. Kiko’s daughter Frankie
Happy 18th, Frankie!
After seeing her gorgeous pre-debut photos, we knew Frankie Pangilinan's debut party was going to reflect the debutante's unique, classy old-world taste.
And true enough. On Saturday — on the eve of her actual birthday — the ballroom of the Shangri-La at The Fort was decked in gold. Tendrils of flowers cascaded down from the chandeliers, low bouquets on the tables complementing the tall candelabras at each end, and as event designer Gideon Hermosa said, warm tones were set against a dark background.
Shared mom Sharon on Instagram, it was really a "personal and non-showbiz" affair with Frankie presiding over every detail of her party. Sunshine Cruz and her girls, Ara Mina, Leila Alcasid were the only entertainment folks in attendance. Kris Aquino was also invited by only her boys showed up; she wasn't well enough to attend, she said on Instagram.
Frankie wore a beautiful red Mark Bumgarner number, with the debutante removing the ball gown attachment to reveal a sleek evening dress, complete with a slit in the middle of the party.
