Zia Dantes cuts her hair for the first time, gets bangs like mom Marian Rivera

Kapuso Primetime royalties Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes' daughter Zia had her first haircut, and because she wanted to have hair like mom's, her parents had it styled with bangs.

Zia's trip to the salon was documented as a vlog which was posted on The Dantes Squad official YouTube channel. It was entitled "Hair Like Mama."

“Since most of us probably won’t remember the details of our first haircut, we decided to document this ‘ceremonial’ activity for our little Letizia. Her reaction was priceless!” Dingdong wrote in an Instagram post.

The video showed Zia requesting to get bangs like her mom's. Who better to cut Zia's hair than Marian's hairstylist Celeste Tuveria?

"Kung ako lang ang mag-de-decide, gusto ko long hair siya pero dahil ate na siya at gusto niyang magtwinning sa kanyang Mama, pagbibigyan ko na," Dingdong said.

Dingdong was the first to cut Zia's hair since the family believes in superstitions.

"Naniniwala kami sa pamahiin, kung sino unang gugupit ng buhok, magiging kasing talino nito ang bata. Kaya si Dad dapat yun!" Marian said. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
