Jay R just proposed to his girlfriend
R&B singer Jay R proposed to his girlfriend Mica Javier on Sunday night.
The newly engaged couple shared the news on Instagram, with Mica excitedly writing, "I got me a BOO-iancé."
Mica thought it was just going to be a music video shoot, but Jay R surprised her, getting down on one knee and popping the question.
She wrote:
I can’t believe it. He pulled off the biggest surprise ever, I had NO CLUE what was happening even while it was happening. The space went silent as I watched him mouth the words, eyes teared up, our dearest friends and family clamouring in the background... for a fleeting moment I froze in shock, thoughts battling between “are we still shooting a music video?!” and “hang on is this forreal?!”, I was stunned and it was surreal but there was no doubt in my mind, my answer was always going to be YES. I love you @rnbjayr & I’m so excited to be your wifey!
In another IG post, Mica wrote "pinch me" to accompany the photo of a kneeling Jay R, proposing to here.
"It's real! I'm so happy," Mica added.
Jay R meanwhile kept it simple and wrote,"Meet my fiancé."
In his stories, he happily said "I put a ring on it."
The proposal was witnessed by a few of their friends including Mark Escueta, Kris Lawrence, Jaya, Coleen Garcia, Billy Crawfod, to name a few.
