Lovi Poe calls Grace Poe ‘my father-figure big sister’ in birthday message

Kapuso actor Lovi Poe had a sweet message for her half-sister Senator Grace Poe, who celebrated her 50th birthday last week.

On Instagram, Lovi posted photos from Grace's birthday celebration, including photos of the sisters side by side. 

In the caption of her post, Lovi said that when their father, actor Fernando Poe Jr., passed away, Grace served as a "father-figure big sister" to her.

"It’s so true what they say, that death ends a life, not a relationship. When Papa passed away, you became my father-figure big sister, even if I was shying away from it," she wrote.

"I may not say it often nor show it, but you filled the gaps in my life only you can fill.  Happy Birthday, Ate! I love you," she continued.
