Liz Uy throws a stylish reception for Baby Xavi’s baptism
Stylist to the stars Liz Uy had her son Xavi baptized on Friday, July 20, and as expected, the reception was all kinds of fashionable.
On Instagram, event stylist Gideon Hermosa, said the party had a Chinoiserie theme, with a long table set in charming blue and white accentuated only with low flower arrangements in white. It was held in Xiu Fine Cantonese Dining on Connecticut Street in Greenhills.
Baby Xavi got a tall, double-flavored cake — carrot and red velvet! — by Lucille’s. “May God send his little angles to bless you and watch over you every day and always,” the message on cake read.
On Liz’s Instagram Stories, we learned that Pauline Juan is a god mother. Pauline, as we may or may not know, was Liz’s editor in Preview magazine.
On Monday morning, we learn that Liz's friend, fellow It girl and new mom Isabelle Daza, is also a ninang.
