Maxene Magalona thanks husband Rob Mananquil for giving her the wedding of her dreams
After holding two weddings, Maxene Magalona expressed how thankful she is to her husband Rob Mananquil for giving her the wedding of her dreams.
Maxene shared a photo of her and Rob after their beach wedding in Boracay, with both of their sunnies on as they locked lips as the sun was setting. In the caption she wrote a heartfelt note for her husband.
"I have found the one whom my soul loves. Just want to take this time to thank my husband for giving me the wedding of my dreams! First, an intimate church wedding with our immediate families and principal sponsors and second, the outdoor ceremony I’d always dreamed of having since I was a little girl," a portion of her message read.
Maxene said she always told herself before that she did not want to marry if it wouldn't be "filled with love and meaning."
"That is exactly what Rob and I had intended for our special day. I’m so grateful that we were both hands on with the wedding planning and that we gave so much thought to every detail of it," she wrote.
Though they were both very hands on, treating the wedding as a "passion project," Maxene was hats off to her husband; Rob, she said never failed to remind her that their marriage after the parties and ceremonies is what will truly matter.
"Rob was the one who inspired me to treat our wedding as though it were our passion project; like it was our baby that we were supposed to take care of from beginning to end and that even though it was going to be an important celebration, he always reminded me that our marriage after the wedding is what really matters most," she wrote.
She ended her note by expressing how proud she is to be the wife of Rob.
"I’m so glad that I got to witness that side of him. From the amazing artwork for our wedding invitations to all the instrumental songs that were played during our ceremony, he tirelessly worked on all of it. And I am just SO PROUD of him and his artistry. I am proud to be Mrs. Robby Mananquil," she wrote.
