Lola Amour says 'Raining in Manila' used as campaign jingle without their consent

Lola Amour has aired their sentiments over campaign jingles sampling their hit song "Raining in Manila."
On X (formerly Twitter), said that all the campaign jingles using their song do not have their permission to do so.
"Btw guys, this happened before and I guess it’s happening again: All of the campaign jingles using our songs do not have our consent. Vote wisely," the band wrote.
This came after one user said that they are starting to get sick of the song because of the campaign jingles.
"Raining in Manila," a song they released in 2024 quickly became one of their hit tracks with international acts such as Enhypen’s Jake and GOT7’s Bambam jamming to the song.
Even the Kapuso Comedy Genius Michael V. was hyped with the song that he made a parody of it called "Waiting Here sa Pila," which is about people lining up for coffee.
