Nick Carter of Backstreet Boys bares preparations ahead of Manila concert
Nick Carter is set to hold his "Who I Am" concert in Manila this month!
In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," the Backstreet Boys member said that he is starting to get in shape again and be physically ready.
"Whether that's hitting the gym a little bit more, starting to play basketball a little bit more, making sure that my cardio gets back up again. Yeah, it's always been an interesting balance for me," he said.
Nick's Manila show is set for March 30 at the New Frontier Theater, Quezon City.
The show will include some of the most famous hits of the Backstreet Boys, as well as the singer's very own favorites, among others.
Meanwhile, Nick admitted that he is still at a loss following the death of his brother, Aaron Carter, in November 2022.
"It's very hard for me to process it, and I don't think that I really have processed it or have understood," he said.
He said that he is also still grieving the passing of his sisters, Bobbie Jean in 2023 and Leslie in 2012.
"My father is almost gone, you know. And I think that this, a lot of it is contributed to this industry that, at a young age, at the age of 12 years old, has affected my life and affected my family. So now, what I'm doing is I'm concentrating extremely hard on my children, my wife, my life."
Nick added that he is trying to be the best father and best husband that he can be.
