Ben&Ben meets DAY6's Young K: 'Core memory'
Ben&Ben has finally met DAY6 member Young K!
On Instagram, the nine-piece folk band shared some snaps of some of their members with the K-pop star.
"Finally met [Young K] of [DAY6]! Core memory!" they wrote in the caption.
In the comment section, Ben&Ben shared how they made a close friendship with Young K.
"Our friendship was made possible by the loving fanbase of Day6, My Day! Ni-reco 'yung song namin na 'Leaves,' which led to us doing a collab version in 2021. We also did a cover of their band's song 'You Were Beautiful.' Grateful for this moment!" they said.
Fans can't help but gush over their much-awaited meeting, with some of them even requesting another collaboration.
Young K was in the Philippines for DAY6's "Forever Young" concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Saturday.
DAY6 debuted in 2015 and is composed of Young K, Sungjin, Wonpil, and Dowoon. Guitarist and vocalist Jae was part of the group until his departure from JYP Entertainment in 2022.
Meanwhile, Ben&Ben recently released their new album "The Traveller Across Dimensions" which consisted of 12 songs.
They also held a concert on December 14 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in support of their latest album.
