Miss World announces coronation date

The Miss World pageant is happening this May!

On Instagram, the organization announced that the activities for Miss World will start on May 7 with the coronation night slated on May 31 in Telangana, India.

Last year, India was also the host country with Krystyna Pyszková of Czech Republic winning the title.

Krishnah Gravidez is set to represent the Philippines in the Miss World pageant.

She is vying for the country's second crown after Megan Young who won Philippines' first title in 2013.
