Judy Ann Santos on meeting Gordon Ramsay: 'Ilang beses kong kinukurot 'yung sarili ko'
Everything still feels surreal for Judy Ann Santos after meeting Gordon Ramsay.
On Instagram, the actress shared some snaps from Gordon's special event at the Newport Performing Arts Theater where she joined his mini "Masterchef" cooking challenge.
"Wow… sa paanong paraan ko ba pwedeng maikwento ang araw ko today? Nakakaloka? Nakakabaliw? Napaka surreal!" Judy Ann wrote.
According to the actress, who recently graduated from culinary school, never in her wildest dreams that something like this would happen to her.
"Ilang beses kong kinukurot 'yung sarili ko. Totoo ba 'to? Pinaprank ba ko? Pero totoo eh! Gusto kong tumambling sabay split!" she added.
During the cooking challenge, Filipino chefs and cooks were tasked to present their unique takes on the Philippines' iconic dessert, Halo-Halo, to the legendary chef in 10 minutes. For Juday, it was the "fastest and nerve-wracking 10 minutes of her life."
Judy Ann also expressed her gratitude to everyone involved in her wonderful experience, especially her husband Ryan Agoncillo and their youngest daughter Luna who gave her some pep talk.
"Mabuhay at ilalaban ko ang pagkaing Pilipino," she ended.
Aside from Judy Ann, food influencer Ninong Ry, culinary student Danica Lucero, and Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill PH Head Chef Bea Therese Qua also joined the cooking challenge.
Gordon, a world-renowned multi-Michelin-starred chef, opened his first restaurant, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, in the Philippines in 2024 at the Newport World Resorts.
The restaurant offers a curated selection of rare breed steaks, grilled specialties, fresh market seafood, and Gordon's legendary Beef Wellington.
Gordon is the chef behind several Michelin-starred restaurants, including Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in the UK and Le Pressoir d'Argent in Bordeaux. He's opened restaurants worldwide, including Singapore, UAE, and Japan.
