'Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle,' 'Akira' included in Japanese Film Festival 2025 lineup

The Japanese Film Festival has released its official film offerings for 2025.
This year, the festival is set to feature 12 Japanese films with a good mix of award-winning motion pictures and fan-favorite movies from different genres such as romance, anime, drama, and sci-fi, among others.
Here is the official lineup for 2025:

- Akira (1988)
- Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle (2024)
- Sand Land (2023)
- DitO (2024)
- Let's Go Karaoke! (2024)
- Our Secret Diary (2023)
- The Imaginary (2023)
- Matched (2024)
- Monster (2023)
- Under The Open Sky (2021)
Other details, including the festival venues and screening schedules, have yet to be revealed.
The Japanese Film Festival, also known as EIGASAI, was launched in 1977 and has grown to be one of the largest film festivals in the country, showcasing a variety of cinematic delights from drama, anime, romance, and mystery to recently released films.
