Denise Julia teases diss track following controversy with BJ Pascual, Killa Kush
Denise Julia is back in the studio and has something to say after her recent controversy involving BJ Pascual and Killa Kush.
In a 24-second teaser on X that she captioned “#BADDIE,” the rising R&B singer sings about a clout chaser “draggin’ my name for likes and views.”
“Said you were a friend, now you turnin’ heel?” she sang. “The damage is done, turned my name into profit.”
She also said, “Go talk to my lawyers if you talkin’ sh-t.”
The release date for “#BADDIE” is yet to be announced.
In December, BJ said on Kush’s podcast that Denise was the most stressful personality he had to work with, and her team canceled their photoshoot the night before.
Denise broke her silence on Christmas Day in a series of Instagram Stories, sharing screenshots and video explanations.
She said that both her and BJ’s team could not agree on a budget. Ultimately, BJ’s team canceled the shoot, "due to the differences in our production process."
However, BJ released his own set of screenshots and said that his team "made every effort to adjust the budget down to 371K for the one-day shoot," which he said is below industry standards and a detail that was left off Denise's earlier clarification.
Kush also said in the episode that Denise canceled her first podcast appearance and then arrived four hours late on the rescheduled date.
Denise’s creative director and best friend Carissa King clarified that they canceled their first podcast appearance “due to unforeseen mental and physical health emergencies.” Then on the rescheduled shoot date, they were late because of heavy traffic.
Denise previously said she was in contact with her legal team to file a defamation lawsuit against the veteran photographer and influencer.
