Rico Blanco's pet dog passes away: 'Run free now, dearest Sylvian'

Rico Blanco is mourning the passing of his pet dog Sylvian.

The Filipino singer took to Instagram to share the sad news about his fur baby, along with a short message for Sylvian.

He also called the good doggo "My baby, my buddy, my joy."

"Run free now, dearest Sylvian," Rico wrote. "Thank you. I love you so much, Sylvie boy."

The OPM icon welcomed the new year by performing at the countdown event in Bonifacio Global City alongside ITZY , Honne , Sarah Geronimo , and Juan Karlos .

Meanwhile, a new musical featuring Rico's hits is set to be staged in March 2025.
