Gary Valenciano to proceed with Sunday concert: 'I will be at the Araneta today'
Gary Valenciano will push through with his "Pure Energy: One More Time" concert, which is scheduled on Sunday evening, December 22, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
On Facebook, Team Gary V shared an update that the show will go on despite the singer's health concerns on the first night of the concert held on Friday.
"I will be at the Araneta today. No weapon formed against me will prosper," Gary said.
Team Gary V also thanked those who prayed for his health and apologized to those who had to wait for the concert announcement tonight.
"The decision of Gary came with much prayer. We will see you later tonight," his team wrote.
Earlier, Gary had to cut his concert short due to an upset stomach, resulting in vomiting.
Despite his various health challenges, such as living with type-1 diabetes, undergoing bypass surgery, and surviving kidney cancer, Gary V remains Mr. Pure Energy. He recently had his 100th concert at the Music Museum in October.
Gary has been holding his "Pure Energy: One More Time" concerts throughout the year to celebrate his 40th year in the entertainment industry.
Gary's concert on Sunday will feature SB19 as one of the guests.
